REVIEW: Confess by Colleen Hoover

by Colleen Hoover
"There are people you meet and get to know, then there are people you meet and already know." - Auburn
This is my confession...I had a hard time putting this book down.

OMG (with pun and all intended) Colleen Hoover had done again by blowing me away with another one of her book. Is it possible to have a book warms and tears your heart to pieces? Yes, friends it does exist. Ta da here is it. I experienced a roller coaster of emotions I certainly miss when reading a captivating story.

Let go on ahead and talk about who I completely swooned over after a couple of chapters. No surprise it's Owen, who really pulled my heart strings. I sense something good in him even if he holds some secrets of his own. I would gladly let him paint one of my confession.

Strong hearted Auburn, who will risked everything for her goal even a second chance at love. My heart torn into pieces at knowing what she been through and how she continues to fight for what she wants. At times she could be a tad ignorant because she is selfless at heart.

When a heartthrob and a strong hearted placed together, the results a dynamic chemistry. Fate had them shared a same middle name, but it did not planned for them to fall for each other. I cannot help say that they healed each other.

There tends to be a character in a book that simply send out a bad vibe just from a first impression. In this case, Trey is whom I speak of. He gives out the run away from me as far as possible vibe. The creepier part is how he has eyes everywhere.

I highly recommend this book.

C-DRAMA REVIEW: When a Snail Falls in Love

When a Snail Falls in Love left me with quite a first impression that I ended up marathoning the whole series or the current episodes already released online. I kept telling myself “patience is a virtue” as I waited for the last two episodes of this crime thriller. Although I have been spoiled for the ending, I still waited for English subtitles because I wanted to see how it all ends.
Straight from the start, this drama intrigue viewers by its unique title, When a Snail Falls in Love, which simply draws us in. It’s a figurative saying; it’s not about an actual snail and lion. In this case, the snail is Xu Xu, who is clever when it comes to psychoanalyze a crime, but slow when it comes to love. Ji Bai is the lion in terms of his fierce and brave ability to pursuit crimes and love. Two polar opposites; yet they make a perfect crime solving duo.

DRAMA RECAPS: 7 First Kisses Episode 3 & 4

Previously on Seven First Kisses, fairy godmother Choi Ji Woo granted Soo Jin’s wish of getting her first kiss by allowing her to meet seven mysterious men with “kiss” number one given by Lee Joon Gi. Just right after the kiss, she came back to present time and met her handsome boss, Park Hae Jin aka potential kiss number2.
EPISODE 3:  Park Hae Jin  Due to her using her cell phone during work, her boss inquired her to work overtime with him. When she walked into his office, she expected there to be lots of works to be done; rather she ate dinner with him. He seeing it was already late said he will take her home.

FIRST & LAST IMPRESSIONS: Medical Examiner Dr. Qin (C-Drama)

I intentionally meant for this to be a first impressions post, but somehow it led to the lasting impressions and review of this crime action Chinese drama. The title of this drama was what initially drew me into watching it since I am a fan of the American television show, CSI (Crime Scene Investigators). As luck would have it this drama is very similar to CSI; yet different in its own ways. Similar in that the opening song sounds very much like the one for CSI with several different beats and it follows Qin Ming (played by Zhang Ruo Yun), a chief forensic investigator for the Chinese police as he solve crime cases. The different in that its very fast pace.
