Sequel to To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han, where readers were left with a cliff hanger ending. Lara Jean continues to work out her feelings for Peter, which already has her head goes around in circle, add in another boy, whom she had loved a while ago be back in the picture. Can't her life get any more complicated? Readers will just have to wait to find out.

At first I was very skeptical on starting this series, but once I got into reading the book, all of my worries went out the window. I am very curious as to how Lara Jean will solve this dilemma and follow her heart.

Last book to the epic Lunar Chronicle by Marissa Meyer that follows Cinder, Prince Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Cress, and Thorne as they team up with Princess Winter to overthrown Queen Levana. A retelling of Snow White. Will they be able to accomplish what they are set out to, or will Queen Levann take them down with her in the process? Readers have to wait till November 10, 2015 to find out.

As of this moment I am still reading Cinder, so I am only 1/3 the way there. I am hooked onto this magical world that Marissa Meyer had created.

C-DRAMA REVIEW: When a Snail Falls in Love

When a Snail Falls in Love left me with quite a first impression that I ended up marathoning the whole series or the current episodes already released online. I kept telling myself “patience is a virtue” as I waited for the last two episodes of this crime thriller. Although I have been spoiled for the ending, I still waited for English subtitles because I wanted to see how it all ends.
Straight from the start, this drama intrigue viewers by its unique title, When a Snail Falls in Love, which simply draws us in. It’s a figurative saying; it’s not about an actual snail and lion. In this case, the snail is Xu Xu, who is clever when it comes to psychoanalyze a crime, but slow when it comes to love. Ji Bai is the lion in terms of his fierce and brave ability to pursuit crimes and love. Two polar opposites; yet they make a perfect crime solving duo.

DRAMA RECAPS: 7 First Kisses Episode 3 & 4

Previously on Seven First Kisses, fairy godmother Choi Ji Woo granted Soo Jin’s wish of getting her first kiss by allowing her to meet seven mysterious men with “kiss” number one given by Lee Joon Gi. Just right after the kiss, she came back to present time and met her handsome boss, Park Hae Jin aka potential kiss number2.
EPISODE 3:  Park Hae Jin  Due to her using her cell phone during work, her boss inquired her to work overtime with him. When she walked into his office, she expected there to be lots of works to be done; rather she ate dinner with him. He seeing it was already late said he will take her home.

FIRST & LAST IMPRESSIONS: Medical Examiner Dr. Qin (C-Drama)

I intentionally meant for this to be a first impressions post, but somehow it led to the lasting impressions and review of this crime action Chinese drama. The title of this drama was what initially drew me into watching it since I am a fan of the American television show, CSI (Crime Scene Investigators). As luck would have it this drama is very similar to CSI; yet different in its own ways. Similar in that the opening song sounds very much like the one for CSI with several different beats and it follows Qin Ming (played by Zhang Ruo Yun), a chief forensic investigator for the Chinese police as he solve crime cases. The different in that its very fast pace.
